CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) released a new circular regarding the “Orientation Session for Principals of CBSE Schools on UNESCO School Health and Wellness Programme”. CBSE School Principals are advised to read this complete article for complete information about this orientation session.
This has reference to the continuation of the latest Circular Number AKD-83/2022 regarding the implementation of the School Health and Wellness Program in CBSE-affiliated schools in collaboration with UNESCO. In the first orientation session on the UNESCO School Health and Wellness Programme for Principals of CBSE-affiliated schools, around 400 Master Trainers have been trained by UNESCO in August 2022 and May 2023 at NCERT, New Delhi.
CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has also developed 2 days Capacity Building Program (CBP) on School Health and Wellness and was notified vide Circular No. TRG-142/2022 dated 17/11/2022. A good number of events have been organized by the CoE across the country.

In this context, CBSE (Most Popular Education Board) is going to organize another orientation session for the Principals of CBSE Schools in collaboration with UNESCO to empower the teachers in each school as health and wellness promoters, who will organize to conduct the promotion activities in schools to improve the health and well-being of school-going students at various levels, based on the resource materials/study materials provided by CBSE, NCERT, and UNESCO.
