The entrance examination for JEE Mains January 2024 exam to take admission in top engineering colleges across the country will start about a month from now. Every year, the JEE Main exam is conducted by NTA in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 exam will be conducted from 24 January to 1 February 2024 while JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exam will be conducted from 1 April 2024 to 15 April 2024. Now there is very little time left for the JEE Main exam, which is why all the students are busy preparing for the exam.

5 Important Instruction for JEE Mains 2024
Candidates are advised to read all the below 5 important instructions for JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Examination. All candidates should know these five instructions before reaching the examination center.
(I) Do not delay in reaching the Examination Center
NTA (National Testing Agency) has alerted all JEE Main 2024 candidates through an official notification not to delay in reaching the examination center. Aspirants should reach the examination center before the time given on the admit card. That means candidates will have to reach 2 hours before the start of the examination. If the candidates do not reach the examination center on time, they may miss some important instructions given at the examination center.
(II) Did not change your allotted Seat.
NTA has issued strict instructions that the candidates should sit in their allotted seats only. Do not change your allotted seat in any case. If any candidate is found changing his seat, he can be dismissed. That is why you should sit in your allotted seat and take the exam. If you have any problem then contact the invigilator in the center hall.
(III) Do not use unfair means in the Examination Hall
Another important instruction for JEE Main 2024 candidates is that they should not use any unfair means in the examination hall. If a student is caught cheating, he or she will be dismissed from the exam on the spot, may be banned from all exams for three years, and may also face criminal charges. Students should not carry anything for unfair means to the examination center like electronic devices etc.
(IV) Do not tamper with any Official Document (ID & Admit Card)
NTA has given another instruction that after reaching the examination center, the candidates should not make any mark or scratch or tamper with their ID and admit card, otherwise such candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Candidates should go to the examination center with valid ID and admit card, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Admit card is a mandatory document for the candidates to carry to the examination center.
(V) There will be no re-examination of missed papers.
Candidates also have to keep in mind that if a candidate does not appear for any reason then his/her exam will not be conducted again. Such candidates should reach the examination center only on the date and time mentioned in the admit card. NTA has also said that the exam center or date of the exam will not be changed.
