ISRO Young Scientist Programme ‘YUVIKA’ 2023 Apply Online at isro.gov.in

The ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) launched the ISRO Young Scientist Programme 2023 on March 20, 2023. About ISRO Young Scientist Programme

ISRO is organizing a special program for School Children known as the “Young Scientist Programme” “YUva VIgyani KAryakram”, YUVIKA, to impart basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science, and Space Applications to the younger students in emerging trends in space science and technology amongst the youth, who are the future building blocks of our nation.

Eligibility ISRO Young Scientist Programme

Students studying in class ‘9’ on January 01, 2023, within India are eligible to apply.

YUVIKA 2023 Selection Parameter

In Yuvika -2023, participants will be selected based on the following parameters:

Marks obtained in Class 8 / last conducted exam (Student)50%
Performance in the online quiz10%
Participation in science fair (school/district/state and above the level in last 3 years)2/5/10%
Rank in Olympiad or equivalent (1 to 3 rank in School / District / State and above the level in last 3 years)2/4/5%
Winners of sports competitions ( 1 to 3 rank in School / District / State & above the level in last 3 years)2/4/5%

How To Apply for ISRO Young Scientist Programme 2023?

  • Applicants should register themselves on the official website of ISRO Antriksh Jigyasa Platform by using the following link: jigyasa.iirs.gov.in.
  • Scroll down and click on the link “Click here for registration in YUVIKA -2023”.
  • Now Click on the register tab and complete the registration process.
  • The students must enter all required details which include first name, email address, phone number, country, state, city, and school name. Applicants should create a password of at least eight characters, and use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • After entering all the details then click on the “Register” button.
  • After completing successful registration, students will receive an email that will ask them to verify their email addresses. Students have to click on the “verification link” sent to their registered e-mail address.
  • Participate in Online SpaceQuiz. Read all guidelines of the quiz carefully before appearing for the quiz.
  • Enter all required personal profiles and education details.
  • The applicant needs to take a photocopy of the certificates and attach the same by the principal/head of the school signing the certificate for verification. The verified certificate needs to be scanned and uploaded to the official website. The verified certificate and photocopy of the certificate should be uploaded to the website for verification.
  • Generate your YUVIKA certificate for verification by your principal/Head of School/ Parent/ Guardian (Any mismatch observed in the attached certificate (s) by the student and certificate for verification submitted by the student will liable for cancellation of candidature of the student).
  • Enter all required personal profiles and education details.
  • Scan & upload your document and submit the YUVIKA 2023 application.
