CBSE launches online Duplicate Academic Document System for students to get the Duplicate Academic Document
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) receives many requests from students for duplicate copies of their academic documents as either they are lost or mutilated. As of now, these students mandatorily approach the respective regional offices in person, apply on a prescribed form, and deposit the required fee in banks or alternatively send the form and bank draft by post.
In view of the prevailing COVID situation and the plight of the students, the IT department has come up with a safe, quick, and viable solution through the recently developed in-house portal called DADS (Duplicate Academic Document System).
The facility will eliminate the human contact and physical presence of the students required so far and reduces the travel, time, and energy spent by students and parents who can now obtain duplicate mark sheets, passing certificates, and migration certificates through this online portal.
Students will have to log on to the official website CBSE and apply on the link Duplicate Academic Document System for the procedure and options.
The Regional Offices, on receipt of applications, will print the academic documents and send them through Speed Post. A tracking system will enable students to track the status of the application and the details sent. However, this portal will give the option to the students to choose from both the digital copy as well as the printed copy of the academic document.
