National Testing Agency, NTA (Exam Conducting Authority) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 in two sessions and the application forms for the JEE Main 2024 examination for both sessions will be released in due course of time on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The first session of the JEE Main 2024 exam is scheduled between January 24 to February 1, 2024 while the second session of JEE Main 2024 Examination will be held between April 1 to 15, 2024. The JEE Main 2024 examination will be conducted by NTA in computer-based mode.
Documents required for JEE Main Registration 2024
According to past trends, some important documents are required to apply online for JEE Main. Before starting to fill JEE Main application form candidates should keep ready the following information and scanned copies of documents:
- Email ID and Mobile Number (Working)
- Marksheet (Class 10 & 12), Pass Certificate
- Aadhar Card
- A scanned photograph of the candidate
- Scanned signature of the candidate
- Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
- Scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable)
- Details for paying the application fee using net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.

While uploading documents, keep the following points in mind
- Recent photographs of the Applicant should be either in color or black and white showing 80 percent of the face (without mask) including ears. The photo should be taken on a white background.
- The scanned photograph and signature of the Applicant should be in JPG/JPEG format only and should be clearly visible.
- The size of the scanned photo of the Candidate should be between 10 KB to 200 KB.
- The size of the scanned signature of the Applicant should be between 4 KB to 30 KB and clearly visible.
- The size of the scanned copy of the category and/or PwD certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) for the eligible applicants should be between 50kb to 300kb in PDF and should be clearly visible.
- If at any time it is found that an applicant of JEE Main 2024 Exam has used/uploaded someone else’s photograph, signature, and certificate or tampered with his/her admit card/result/scorecard, these acts will be considered as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices.
