CBSE conducted 18th Edition of CTET Successfully: CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) one of the most popular education boards has released an official Notification Regarding “CBSE conducted 18th Edtion of CTET Jan 2024 Exam Successfully”

The 18th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was successfully conducted by CBSE on 21 January 2024 at 3418 examination centers in 135 cities across India. A total of 137 Exam City Coordinators (two City Coordinators due to the excess of examination centers in some cities), 3418 Center Superintendents, 4021 Supervisors, and 662 CBSE officers/employees were deployed for the smooth and fair conduct of the CTET January 2024 examination.

CBSE Board has also given this data that approximately 84% of candidates have appeared in the 18th edition CTET January 2024 exam. The number of candidates appearing this year is quite good. The results of all the candidates who have taken the CTET Jan 2024 exam will be released very soon.

CTET January 2024 exam consists of two question papers; Question Paper-1 of the CTET 2024 Exam is to ensure the eligibility of teachers for classes 1 to 5, while Paper-2 of the CTET 2024 Exam is to ensure the eligibility of teachers for classes 6 to 8. Candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility can appear in one or both papers of the CTET Exam and can choose any two languages out of the 20 prescribed languages.

Like previous years, this year the Exam Conducting Board has made arrangements to provide digital mark sheets and eligibility certificates through DigiLocker APP/Portal for the convenience of CTET candidates, which is also a resolution of the Board in the direction of ‘Green Initiative’. DigiLocker accounts of all the appearing candidates of the CTET January 2024 Exam will be created and account credentials will be communicated to the candidates on their mobile numbers registered with CBSE. Candidates of the CTET Exam 2024 will be able to download their digital mark sheet and eligibility certificate using the communicated credentials.

Marksheets and eligibility certificates of CTET are convenient for everyone in digital format as they can be shared electronically anytime, anywhere. For security purposes, the mark sheet and certificate of CTET contain an encrypted QR code that can be scanned and verified using the DigiLocker mobile app.

Digitally signed CTET Marksheets and CTET certificates are legally valid as per the IT Act. The incorporation of technology in examination-related activities and environmental protection is a strong step taken by the CBSE Board. The Exam Conducting Board is committed to saving huge amounts of money and valuable resources like paper, trees, and water and reducing carbon emissions.
