The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently conducted the 18th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 on January 21 (SUNDAY). A total of 26,93,526 applicants had registered for the January Session CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2 Exam. As per the official statement from CBSE, 84% of the registered applicants actively participated in the CTET Jan 2024 examination.
CTET is divided into two papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2) to ensure eligibility for teachers in different classes. Paper 1 of the CTET Exam is designed for teachers of classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 of the CTET Exam focuses on those teaching classes 6 to 8.
