CBSE Board Exam 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is hoping to return to its pre-Covid rules. With human life returning to normalcy, the CBSE board has decided to switch to the pre-pandemic format of examinations for the upcoming academic year.
This decision will mean that from now onwards CBSE 10th and 12th board exams will be conducted only once a year, as they used to be before the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the class 10 and class 12 board exams 2023 will start on February 15. The exam dates of the CBSE Board Exams for the 2023 academic session were announced during the CBSE 10th and 12th Result 2022 release. The CBSE board also confirmed that in 2023 there will be only one exam apart from a few other changes.

CBSE Board Exam Date 2023
The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) board recently announced that the CBSE Board Exam will start on February 15, 2023. The CBSE board exam date was announced to disperse the cloud of uncertainty among the aspirants and bring the academic sessions back on track, as they were in the pre-pandemic era.
Previous Year Exam Pattern
For the academic year 2021-22, the CBSE board introduced two sets of board exams. The CBSE term-1 board exam was conducted in November-December 2021 and the CBSE Term-2 exam will start on April 26 this year.
In the 2021-22 academic year, CBSE conducted the board exam in 2 terms which are Term-I and Term II. In the theory paper of the Board Exam, 30% weightage is given to term 1 and 70% to term 2 for the final result. In a practical board exam, equal weightage has been given to both terms. The overall pass percentage in class 12 result was 92.71% and in class 10, it stood at 94.40%.
