CBSE Class 12 Syllabus for Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally put an end to speculations that the term-wise assessment scheme will be retained in the new academic session. The CBSE Board has issued a circular that clearly states that “Keeping in view the feedback of the stakeholders and other prevailing conditions, the Board shall conduct the Annual Plan of Assessment at the end of the academic session 2024-25 and the syllabus shall be revised accordingly.

According to people familiar with the matter, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has decided to switch to its old practice of conducting board exams for classes X and XII only once a year for the academic year 2024-25.
This means that for those students who are now entering classes 10 and 12, only one set of board exams will be conducted at the end of the academic year 2024-25.
