Calculation of Percentage of Class 10 & 12 for Board Exam 2024
CBSE (Most Popular Education Board) has been receiving requests from various individuals to explain the criteria for calculating the percentage of students in the board exams. In this regard, it is informed that in sub-section 40.1 (iii) of Chapter-7 of the examination bye-laws, it has been stipulated that:
Note: No overall division/distinction/aggregate will be awarded.
Further, if a student of classes 10 and 12 has offered more than 5 subjects, the decision to determine the best 5 subjects may be taken by the admitting body or employer.
Further, it is informed that the Board (exam conducting board) does not calculate/declare/inform the percentage of marks. If the percentage of marks is required for higher education or employment then the calculation, if any, may be done by the admission institute or the employer.

CBSE Board Exam 2024 is going to start very soon, hence all the students should keep doing their preparation well. As we know that CBSE Board Annual Exam is going to start from 15th February 2024 for Class 10 and 12 students and CBSE Board Exam 2024 will run for 55 days and will end on 10th April 2024.
