Aspirants have reached their respective exam centers as the CBSE Board Exam 2023 for Classes 10 and 12 begins today, February 15. The Class 10 board exams will end on 21 March and the class 12 board exams will end on 5 April 2023. The timing of the 10th and 12th board exams will start at 10.30 am and end at 1.30 pm.
The board exam for CBSE class 10th students has started from today, It is being conducted by CBSE Board. This year, only one exam was conducted at the end of the academic year 2022-23.
As per the latest statistics, a total of 21,86,940 students will appear for the CBSE 10th Board Exam 2023. Out of 21,86,940, around 9,39,566 are female students and 12,47,364 are male students. Whereas, around 16,96,770 students will appear in the CBSE 12th Board Exam, of which 7,45,433 are female students and 9,51,332 are male students.
The 10th final board exams will end on March 21 and the 12th exams will continue till April 5. CBSE Class 10 final board exams will be conducted for 76 and Class 12 final exams for 115 subjects.
On the days of the examination, students must reach the examination center before 10 am. Class 10, and 12 students will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper before the commencement of the exam.
The aspirants must carry the school uniform and school identity card, apart from the admit card issued by CBSE, and only permissible stationery items.
An official CBSE release said, “CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has made elaborate arrangements for the conduct of examinations in 26 countries in India and abroad. CBSE board has issued detailed guidelines to all stakeholders to ensure that all important information for the conduct of examinations is passed on to all responsible officials at the examination centers.
