The board has released the official notification for all CBSE Class 10th and 12th students regarding the CBSE 10th 12th Practical Exam Date 2024 on its official website Central Board of Secondary Education. According to the official board provisions of the Examination Bye-Laws/Scheme of Studies of the Board, practical examinations/projects/internal assessments for the academic session 2023-24 for classes 10 and 12 students are scheduled by the CBSE education Board from 1 January 2024 for all affiliated schools in India and abroad. However, those CBSE-affiliated Schools located in winter areas are expected to remain closed in the month of January due to winter weather.

CBSE Education Board has already declared the exam dates for CBSE Board Exam 2024. The CBSE Board Exam 2024 for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted by CBSE from 15 February 2024 to 10 April 2024. According to the official notice, the CBSE Board exam will be completed within 55 days.

CBSE 10th 12th Practical Exam Date 2024 for Winter Bound Schools
According to this official update, the Practical Examinations/Project/Internal Assessment for the academic session 2023-24 for both classes X and XII students for winter-bound schools are to be conducted from 14th November (Tuesday) 2023 to 14th December (Thursday) 2023. CBSE school teachers and principals find attached herewith the SOPs and Guidelines for the conduct of Practical Examinations/Project/Internal Assessments for both classes 10 and 12 students in winter-bound schools.
Therefore after the Winter Session, all schools are requested to take the following action to ensure the timely completion of CBSE 10th 12th practical examinations for academic session 2023-24 in respect of their schools:
(1) Prepare the final list of candidates (LOC) and ensure that no student of the school whose name has not been submitted in the online LOC (List of Candidates) to the CBSE Board is allowed to appear in these classes 10th 12th practical examinations/project/internal assessment.
(2) Contact the regional office of the CBSE Board for the appointment of external examiners and supervisors.
(3) Ensure timely completion of CBSE 10th 12th Practical examinations and sending of answer sheets to the regional offices.
These dates and instructions for practical examination are only for winter schools and are not applicable for regular session CBSE affiliated schools for which circulars will be issued separately.
