Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Board has released a new notification/circular on its official web portal of CBSE regarding Youth Ideathon 2023. Youth Ideathon 2023 is India’s Largest K-12 School Level Idea Festival organized by (MEPSC) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, and ThinkStartup.

What is Youth Ideathon 2023
Youth Ideathon is India’s most exciting innovation and entrepreneurship competition for students of India’s schools. The Ideathon competition attaches to the youth to activate them and discover social problems with their passion and propose solutions that can improve the life of humanity. The motto of YOUTH IDEATHON is MERA IDEA JO BADAL DE BHARAT, thereby implying, an idea that can change India.
In the 2022 version, more than 95000 schools students from more than 7000 schools. Now we are all ready to launch the New Edition of Youth Ideathon 2023.
Through initiatives like the New Education Policy (NEP 2020), Atma Nirbhar Bharat, Startup India, and Make in India, the Government of India has emphasized on developing creative capacity among school students. Therefore, it is important for today’s youth to take this message of innovation and entrepreneurship to develop a sense of innovation and encourage them to dream of future ideas and exploit their ability to do so.
Youth Ideathon Festival 2023
Youth Idthon 2023 (YI23) will build on the work of the second edition of Youth Idthon (India’s Largest K-12 School Level Idea Festival) to carry forward the mission of school-level entrepreneurship development.
The YI23 Festival (Youth Ideathon Festival 2023 is designed to encourage school students across India to detect entrepreneurship through the idea, prototype, and idea pitch for the specialist panel. It is expected by the organizer of this event to generate participation from more than 200,000 school students from all parts of India – cities, towns, villages, everywhere.
2nd Eition Youth Ideathon 2023 Objectives
The following are the most important objectives of Youth Ideathon (YI23) 2023.
- Encourage all bona fide school students from any school board – Central, State, or International to make big dreams and create real solutions.
- Develop a sense of innovation and entrepreneurship in school
- Student.
- Identify the efforts of induced school teachers/masters and schools that are working behind the curtains to develop entrepreneurship in schools.
- Nurture high-potential student ideas with incubation support.
- Open doors of angel funding for incubated student ventures.
