Submission of applications for fresh Affiliation under various categories for the session 2023-24 in SARAS

The Board has implemented School Affiliation Re-Engineered Automation System (SARAS) which is fully automated. This affiliation process was implemented w.e.f 16 March 2021 for the academic session 2022-23 and is subject to self-certification from the school. It was observed that some schools are submitting incomplete/invalid documents, due to which the process gets delayed thereby defeating the purpose of the automated system.

Thus some modifications have been made for the processing of applications from session 2023-24.

Schools seeking new affiliations will proceed to apply by filling in the details at the KYC level (1st stage) followed by uploading mandatory documents in Part-A.

  • No Objection Certificate
  • Recognition Certificate
  • Land Certificate
  • Building Safety Certificate
  • Fire Safety Certificate and
  • Society/Trust/Company Registration
All the data filled in by the school must be exactly the same and must match all the mandatory documents. The school will use scanners to scan documents to upload and refrain from using mobile phones.

The school will fill in the required details and upload the above documents and pay Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only).

Thereafter, the mandatory documents will be scrutinized by the Board, and only if the mandatory documents satisfy the criteria, the application will be considered valid and taken for further processing.

In case of the application whose mandatory documents are found to be correct, the school will be informed (on progress panel or SMS) to proceed to fill Part B and other details, for final payment of the balance fee. The inspection team will be constituted immediately and within a month the school will be ready for inspection.

In the first level the scrutiny will be done using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and if the marks obtained are more than the cut-off value, then no manual verification will be done. In other cases, there will be manual verification limited to the submission of mandatory documents which will be completed within 15 working days from the date of submission of the application.

In case of non-submission of mandatory documents valid at the KYC level and Part A, the application will be treated as incomplete and will not be taken for further review. The exact nature of the shortfall will be intimated through Progress Panel (School Login) / SMS. After this, schools will have to apply afresh & the initial payment will be forfeited.
