The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been ordered by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and UGC to conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission into Undergraduate Programmes in Central Universities under the Ministry of Education, and other participating Universities / Institutions / Organizations / Autonomous Colleges since the year 2022.

NTA (Most Popular Exam Conducting Agency) will conduct CUET (UG) Examination 2024 in hybrid mode (CBT and Pen and Paper) mode for approximately 13.48 lakh candidates at various examination centers located in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India as per the following CUET UG 2024 schedule:

63 test papers are being introduced in CUET (UG) 2024. The duration of the CUET UG 2024 test will be 45 minutes except for subjects like Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science/Informatics Practice, Chemistry, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and General Test, the duration of the test will be 60 minutes.

To ensure that candidates of CUET UG 2024 from all backgrounds get an equal opportunity to perform their best, it has been decided to conduct the test paper, which most of the candidates have opted for, in pen and paper mode.
