Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases a new notification regarding the FIT India Quiz 2022 for citizens of all age groups from school children to senior citizens. Read the article till the end for complete information regarding this FIT India Competition 2022.
The Fit India Movement was launched in August 2019 to popularize fitness as a way of life among citizens. Envisioned as a mass movement, an attempt has been made to develop the philosophy that fitness is free, fun, and easy among citizens of all age groups from school children to senior citizens.
To further reiterate the need to create awareness regarding fitness and sports among school children who are the future of India, the Sports Authority of India, under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, decided to launch the second edition of Fit India Quiz for schools across the country. The FIT India Quiz registration for participating schools started from 3 September 2022 on the official website of FIT INDIA (link given below).
The objective of the FIT India quiz is to provide a national platform for the students to showcase their knowledge regarding fitness and sports, its philosophy is to educate students about the rich sports history of India including the age-old indigenous sports, our national and regional sports heroes. To create awareness about The past and how the activities of the traditional Indian lifestyle hold the key to Fit Life in all.
The FIT India quiz is the second edition of the national level quiz for students that will give a total cash prize of Rs 3.25 crore to schools and students.
Total Round in FIT India Quiz 2022
School Round: The Fit India Quiz will be conducted by the school to select the students for registration in the preliminary round.
Preliminary Round: To be a multiple choice question round conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The nationwide quiz will be conducted in 13 languages.
State Round: This Round is conducted by each State/UT with the support of Fit India Mission among the eligible schools after the Preliminary Round. The round of this quiz will be anchored by a professional quiz master and will be broadcast on the social media handles of Fit India Mission.
National Round: Final Round of the FIT India Competition in which the winning team from each State/UT will participate and fight for the top title of National Winner of Fit India Quiz 2022. The first and second runner-up prizes for this quiz will also be decided.
