CTET Exam Pattern 2022 has been prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2 Exam. The CTET Exam Pattern for Paper I and Paper II determines the number of questions asked in the exam, the marking scheme, and the complete structure of the exam question paper. CTET Exam 2022 will be conducted by CBSE Board online as a Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.

The Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) is divided into two levels or papers. If applicants want to qualify to teach classes 1 to 8, they can appear for both papers in CTET Exam. Both CTET Paper I and II contain a total of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each.

CTET Exam Pattern 2022 Highlights

In both the papers, 1 mark is given for correct answers and there is no negative marking for wrong answers. Paper 1 of the CTET Exam consists of 5 sections whereas Paper 2 of the CTET Exam consists of 4 sections. Applicants have to select between Mathematics and Science and Social Studies in Paper 2. CTET Marking Scheme 2022

Paper I of the CTET Exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQ) carrying 150 marks. On the other hand, Paper II of the CTET Exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQ) and is 150 marks. In both the papers of the CTET Exam, there is no negative marking as per the CTET 2022 exam pattern.
