Rules and Eligibility Criteria for CBSE 12th Compartment Exams

• Aspirants who have failed in any one subject in their final CBSE board exam can apply for the compartment exam. CBSE supplementary material for the class 12th compartment exam is the same as that studied for regular exams.
• An Aspirant placed in the compartmental category in the class 12th board examination must reappear in the compartmental examination held on 23 August 2022. They will also get a second and third chance to clear the exam in the subsequent year.
• A student who does not appear or fails in one or all three occasions of compartment examination shall be deemed to have failed in the examination. They have to re-appear in all the subjects and qualify for the exam to get the class 12th certificate.
• Aspirants can appear in the practical test for subjects having a practical assessment. They can also retain their previous marks in another annual examination after the third chance of compartment examination.
