Please refer to the official Circular No: Acad-99/2023 Dated: 23 August 2023 about CBSE Reading Mission Initiatives through which a series of activities have been introduced to facilitate and encourage reading habits among all the CBSE BOARD students and create a vibrant learning environment.
The next activity under the CBSE Reading Mission is the CBSE Emerging Writers Program (also called CBSE Budding Authors Program) which aims to ignite the creative spark within students by encouraging them to explore the art of storytelling. By writing and submitting short stories under this program, students of classes 5 to 10 get an exciting opportunity to express their imagination and ideas and see their work published. This rich experience hones their writing abilities and nurtures their self-confidence and self-expression.
CBSE Budding Authors Programme aims to provide a platform for students of classes 5 to 10 to read a variety of stories and learn to write effectively. As students write and submit short stories under this latest edition of the CBSE Budding Author program, they will get a chance to express their creativity and see them published.
This latest Edition of the CBSE Budding Authors Programme 2023-24 is beneficial for students of classes 5 to 10. Students can submit their stories in Hindi or English in the following three categories. The First Category is for students in classes 5 to 6, the second category students are for students in classes 7 to 8 and the third category students is for students in classes 9 to 10.
