Important Note: Central Board of Secondary Education has removed the topics on ‘Democracy and Diversity’, Poems of Mughal Durbar, and Faiz from the syllabus. The CBSE board has not released the Punjabi language syllabus for the new academic session 2022-23 while the syllabus for all other regional languages is available on the official website of the CBSE Board.

According to people familiar with the matter, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has decided to switch to its old practice of conducting board exams for classes X and XII only once a year from the academic year 2022-23.
This means that for those students who are now entering classes 10 and 12, only one set of board exams will be conducted at the end of the academic year 2022-23.
