CTET 2022 New Eligibility Criteria

There is no age restriction in the CTET exam 2022 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to determine the eligibility of teachers for primary (classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (classes 6 to 8) in central government schools like NVS/KVS and other schools.

CTET 2022 New Educational Qualification for Classes 6 to 8 (Elementary Stage) 

Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates will be given a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks.

Aspirants pursuing any teacher education course (recognized by NCTE or RCI) will be eligible to appear in CTET.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories like Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Differently Abled will be given a 5% reduction in the qualifying marks. 

At present, there is no restriction on the number of CTET attempts. There is no limit on the number of attempts an individual can take to obtain the CTET certificate.
