Har Ghar Tiranga Program 2022 

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases a new circular regarding Har Ghar Tiranga Program. 

The Indian National Flag is a symbol of national pride for the entire nation. To further honor the National Flag, The Government of India has planned the Har Ghar Tiranga program under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav activities. 

It envisages inspiring Indians everywhere to fly the national flag.

The idea behind the initiative is to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the citizens and promote awareness about our national flag.

The first external official hoisting of the flag of independent India took place on 15 August 1947 in Canberra, Australia.

Har Ghar Tiranga  

Hansa Mehta became the first person to present the national flag of independent India in the Parliament to Dr. Rajendra Prasad on the midnight of 14-15 August 1947.

Tenzing Norgay became the first person to hoist the Indian National Flag on Mt. Everest on 29 May 1953.
