CBSE launches Heritage India Quiz 2021-22 for Students

CBSE Heritage India Quiz is organized every year to raise awareness about the conservation of human heritage, diversity, and vulnerability of India’s built monuments and heritage sites. It is an endeavor of the Board to inspire the future generations of this country for the necessary efforts to protect & conserve our vast cultural heritage. The theme of this year’s quiz will be “India’s Freedom Struggle” to commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence – “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav“.

CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2021-22

This quiz will be conducted online from 28 January 2022 to 28 February 2022. All the students of classes 6th to 12th (irrespective of the Board) are eligible to participate in this Heritage India  Quiz 2021-22.

Our country is celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Hence the theme of this year’s Heritage India Quiz is India’s Freedom Struggle. In this quiz questions will be asked from India’s Freedom Struggle, Yoga and Martial Arts, Historical Monuments, Indian Classical/Folk Dance, Indian Classical/Folk Music, Painting, Sculpture, Handicrafts, Indian Scriptures, and Ecological Heritage.

In order to reach out to maximum students across the country, the board will be hosting the Heritage India Quiz 2021-22 on the MyGov platform and DIKSHA platform. The quiz is available in both English and Hindi language. There is no participation fee for this heritage India quiz.

How to attempt Heritage India Quiz 2021-22 on MyGov Platform

Step I: Go to the official website of MyGov Platform.

Step II: After clicking the above link, MyGov Quiz Homepage will open.

Step III: Click on the “Start Quiz” button.

How to register in Heritage India Quiz 2021-22 through Diksha Platform

In order to access the quiz on the official DIKSHA platform, a student has to attend the course “Heritage India Quiz 2021-22” on the DIKSHA platform by following the instructions given below.

Step I: Students can access the course through the DIKSHA portal on the computer or through the DIKSHA app on an Android mobile phone. iPhone users can access the quiz on any mobile browser. To access the quiz students must have the latest version of the DIKSHA app available on Google Playstore. Further, the DIKSHA mobile app should be updated to the latest version available on Google Playstore.

Step II: The “Heritage India Quiz 2021-22” can be accessed in both English and Hindi language. Select the language in which you want to give a quiz. This will open the login page.

Step III: Students need to log in to the portal/app using their existing DIKSHA credentials. In case they do not have an account on DIKSHA, they can register for it by clicking on the “Register here” button on the page. They can also sign in with an existing Google Account by clicking the “Sign in with Google” button. A complete details guide for Registration or Login can be found at Diksha Portal.

Step IV: On reaching the home page of the course, click on “Join the course” to join the course. Once you join the course, you will be able to access the Heritage India Quiz 2021-22.

Step V: A participation certificate will be provided to all the students who complete the course. On completion of the quiz, the participation certificates will be issued online on the official DIKSHA platform and MyGov platform.

Please note that no merit list will be displayed or separate certificates will be issued to the participants for this activity.

Terms and Conditions of Heritage India Quiz 2022

  • The Heritage India Quiz is open to all Indian citizens.
  • This is a time-bound quiz. Participants will have to answer 40 questions within 40 minutes.
  • The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Start Quiz’ button.
  • Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
  • Participants can enter the quiz contest only once. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted and will not be considered.
  • The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants, refuse entry, or discard entries, if such instances or participation is considered to be detrimental to the competition, or additionally, any entry will be considered void if the information submitted is illegible, incomplete, false, or erroneous.
  • Participants must abide by all the terms and conditions of the Quiz Contest including any amendments or further updates.
  • By entering the Quiz, the participant acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the above terms and conditions.
