CUET 2022 Participating Institutes
CUET will be a compulsory entrance test for universities established under an Act of Parliament and under the control and purview of the Ministry of Education, Government of India (GoI). In the year 2009, Parliament passed the Central Universities Act, which paved the way for the creation of 16 (sixteen) central universities in addition to the existing universities to give representation to all states.
At present, 44 central and 28 other universities admit aspirants to their UG, PG, and integrated courses through a national-level entrance test called Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Recently, the Executive Council of the University of Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi has also approved that admission to all Under-Graduate (UG) courses for the academic session 2022-23 will be done through CUET.

Things to Remember for CUET 2022 Exam

CUET UG 2022 Making Scheme
According to an official statement, in order to answer a question, aspirants have to select an option that corresponds to the correct answer or the most appropriate answer. However, in case of any discrepancy, the marking pattern will be as follows:
- Five marks (+5) will be awarded for the correct or most appropriate answer.
- One mark (-1) will be deducted for marking the wrong option.
- No mark (0) will be awarded for leaving the question unmarked or for review.
- If more than one option is found to be correct then five marks (+5) will be awarded if one of the correct options is marked.
- Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all the candidates who attempt the question if all the options are found to be correct.
- If all options are incorrect, one question is incorrect, or one question is omitted, five marks (+5) will be awarded to the candidates attempting the omitted question.

Eligibility Criteria for CUET 2022

CUET Eligibility Criteria 2022 for UG
To apply and appear for CUET 2022 Exam, aspirants have to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the Central Universities. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
For Undergraduate: To take admitted to undergraduate degree programs in central universities, aspirants will need to have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board. For the general category, an aspirant needs to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in class 12, for SC/ST aspirants need to obtain a minimum of 45 percentile in class 12 to be eligible for CUET 2022.
CUET Eligibility for Other Courses
For Post Graduate: Those Aspirants applying for a Master’s degree must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Aspirants applying for admission in the same field of graduation or different degree must have secured a minimum 55 percentile (general) / 50 percentile (SC/ST) to be eligible for CUET Exam 2022.
For Ph.D.: Students applying for Ph.D. Programs must have a master’s degree from a recognized university or institution in order to apply for admission to research programs. Students need to secure a minimum of 55% (Genera) / 50% (SC/ ST) in order to be eligible for the Ph.D. program at the center.
CUET 2022 will be in 13 languages
