CBSE asks schools to Submit the list of Candidates for Classes 10 and 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education has asked its affiliated schools to submit the list of candidates (LOCs) for class 10th and 12th board exams for the academic year 2022-23. According to the CBSE notification released today, the data collection for eligible candidates through LOC will start on 16 June 2022.
Schools must submit the LOC through the e-Pariksha link provided on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in. The last date for submission of LOC without a late fee is 31 August 2022.
The latest CBSE circular said, Since it is very important to submit LOC as per schedule, schools are requested to make a plan for timely submission of data of the candidates. It also has to be ensured that the data entered is correct. The CBSE board also listed the actions to be taken for the registration of students in the LoC.

Requesting the schools to submit the list of students, the board said that the students are not from any unauthorized or unaffiliated schools and are regularly attending classes in their schools. Apart from CBSE, the listed students should not be registered with any other school education board. As per CBSE, the empaneled students are eligible for the board exams for classes 10 and 12.

The CBSE notification states that in the session 2022-23 only those students will be allowed to appear in class 10 and class 12 board exams, whose names will be submitted through the online process of submission of LOC.
However, as mentioned earlier, no data can be corrected or edited after the school affiliated with CBSE has submitted the data. Schools should also take a printout/PDF of the final LOC and obtain the signatures of the candidate, his/her mother, and father to confirm the information. CBSE said that no date will be extended and schools will have to fill in all the information correctly.
CBSE Online Affiliated School Information System (OASIS) data must be submitted by the schools before the deadline. The board said that any corrections or modifications made by the schools will be looked into by the regional authorities of CBSE.
Schools should ensure that the sponsored students are only their own regular and genuine students and that the name of any genuine student is not left unsponsored. The board also asked the schools to submit a list of students stating that the students are not from any unauthorized or unaffiliated schools and are regularly attending classes in their schools.
